I am glad I stumbled across The Men in an article in NME magazine. Leave Home is full of sonic fuzz, think Sonic Youth with some agressive vocals on certain tracks. A stand out track for me is “( )”, oddly named but certainly grabbed my attention. ‘Bataille’ is another track that is also up there with some really good rhythm and had me pushing repeat.
Rounding out my top three tracks for the album would be the instrumental ‘Lotus’. I am looking forward to see what this band follows up with, but for a debut this is solid.
